The Proudest Moment in My Life

The proudest moment in my life over the last year was when I shot my first Quail, a quail is a small brown bird that lives in forests and in prairies. It was a cold morning and my Dad and my friend Keely her dad, and I started our day at around 5:00 a.m. .  We were hunting for deer, so at the spot we had scooped out the day before we split up because we had more likely chance to find a deer. Well my Dad and I shot a deer and returned to the truck to wait for Keely and her Dad. After we had a deer we drove to a different spot hoping to get Keely and her Dad a deer and look for Quail. As we were on our way back to the truck, we saw a flock of Quail in the middle of the path. My Dad said shot one quick before they notice us, so that is exactly what I did. I brought my .22 up to my shoulder and took one slow deep breath, aimed and slowly squeezed the trigger. I not being completely at full alert aimed directly for the chest of the Quail, at around 50 feet away the poor bird exploded. All the other birds stood still for several moments not reliezing what had just happened. I had to take whatever I could salvage from the feathers, I'll spare you the details of what the body looked like lets just say I only got half of the breast. From my miss shot though I learned not to shot a bird though the breast because that is a bad idea always go for the head. The fact that I had finally killed my first animal was a very proud moment for me, I felt like I had earned my place in the group.
This is the kind of Quail I shot.

Favorite Music, both domestic and foreign

Listening to music almost everyone does it, anyone who does finds a favorite artist or band to adore. I love to listen to all forms of music but, like many I've come to adore a couple of musicians more them others. There are so many to choose from though it's very hard, but I really love rock. My favorite artist is Pat Benatar, she was amazing and is a huge inspiration to me.  She sings "Hit me with your best Shot" which is an amazing song about a guy who is a totally playing girls heart and she knows it, so she tells him to try his best. Also she sings "Love is a Battlefield" and "Heartbreaker" which are awesome as well because any time you feel low her songs are bouncy and light. When I listen to her songs it makes me smile because she sings with her whole heart and really shows the power of women. During her era she had to fight for her place among the male artists, but was incredibly popular. She shows me that women can do anything they put their mind to and once their mind is made up it doesn't change. In addition to her two others that have song inspirational songs, these are Idina Menzel (Let It Go), and Christina Perri (Human).  My favorite American band is Journey they were very popular when my parents were growing up, best passed some awesome stuff down to our generation. They made the hit songs "Don't Stop Believing", "Faithfully", and "Separate ways". This band played incredible music and has inspired many. Foreign artists that I know are the band Bastille which has held a place in  many hearts. This band is from England and sings "Pompeii." An artist I know that is foreign is Iryna Bilyk-Ryabina Alaya, she is a Ukrainian pop artist. She sings a whole bunch different songs and even though i don't really understand the words she still sounds cool.

My Plan

During high school I hope to achieve a consistent 3.0 in the least,  and past the exit exam the first go around. Also, I hope to make some life long friends. In addition, in high school golf I want to place in the top ten overall. I love to golf it is fun for me and I get to spend time with my Dad. In high school I want to learn to develop my talents and appreciate others even if they are a little different. Some of the talents that I want to develop are my writing and artistic ones. Overall, high school is huge valley of choices and development I want to come out in better shape then when I went in.
After high school I plan to go to either an out of state college or one really far away from my parents. Right now I'm looking into a college called Pacific. It is a private catholic  college and my Aunt and uncle live up there, so I'd still have some family around. I want to study psychology, and art. I want to learn about how people interact with others and how they reaction within themselves. Also, I think that "mental" patience, could probably be put more at ease, if they can express themselves though art. Art in this case could be dance, drama, painting, writing, and other expressive arts. In expressing ones feelings I think others can not only learn about you but, you also learn about yourself. By learning about how you react to others, you can learn how to better interact ,which helps everyone.
A study of of the never ending pathways of the brain.

A piece of really cool art work

My Favorite Movie/ show

My favorite movie would either be Pitch Perfect or Anastasia because of the relatable plots. In Pitch Perfect the many character is trying to find her place in school, while is looks like trouble she is really very different on the inside. Meanwhile i always look like a really good student but, like her wish i was more accepted. While the star finds her place she grows as a person and helps her team, win. Overall this movie is understandable because everyone is looking for their place in society, and once you find it, you enjoy it greatly. Anastasia is a Fox production, not a Disney movie but she is my very favorite princess for many reasons.  One is because she loses everything and on a long treacherous journey she faces not only her fears but also her hopes. By learning to love herself she finds true love, and after finding everything she wanted she left it for her love.  Everyone wants to find themselves and the love story is truly touching, she would have made a perfect Disney princess.
My favorite show would definitively be an anime or Japanese carton, called Black Butler. It is about a little boy who gives his soul to a demon in order to get revenge for his parents death. Both his parents died in a crazy fire accident that destroyed there home, Ciel was the only one to survive. His demon is named Sebastian and  he is always loyal to his master Ciel, while in the show  he is a butler. Also, the house guard which consists of a maid and two grounds keepers, but really Sebastian does all the work. All though the series Ciel and his butler look for the killers and then with the help of other mystical beings find who it was. It ends really sad and I haven't watched the Second season yet, I can't wait!!

My Favorite Book

Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelsen, was the greatest most well written book I have ever read, it does not have a specific audience both my mom and I read it, also it is inspiring!!! To begin the main character Cole Matthews is arrested, for almost killing someone. Instead of following the normal justice system which would be five years in prison, he decided on the Native American way of justice. At first he only chooses the Circle Justice system to stay out of jail but, as he learns the true meanings of trust and love he gives everything to return. The Circle Justice system is a system that the Native Americans use/used where they send the subject to an island, all by themselves to live for a year. They provide the house and someone drops off food every week for the person. Sadly, when Cole Matthews is sent to the island he is still very, very anger at himself and has to learn to overcome the anger to survive.   Once he learns this lesson he teaches others the value of life and trust in ones self and in other. This story is a powerful, and moving to read and I've read it multiple times.
