My Favorite Holiday

There are so many wonderful holidays in America, it is hard to decide on my favorite. I think that my favorite would be either Christmas or Valentines day. We have some pretty cool traditions for Christmas, to start we use an advent wreath and have a Christmas eve surprise. An advent wreath is where you have four candles, three that are purple and one pink one. Each candle symbolizes a week of preparation for Christmas, every Sunday four weeks before Christmas we light one of the candles. After all the candles are lit it;s Christmas. I love Christmas, but i like the night before even better because we get a visit from the elves, they always give us new pj's and a book. Also, you have all the anticipation for Santa who comes to reward all the good children. Lot's of people love the season because they get gifts but, i love it because the way people give others gifts, and instead of thinking of only themselves they show others they care. Christmas is a time of renewal of a strong love and strength to know you aren't alone. Valentines day to me is like a smaller version of Christmas especially for anyone who love one another. My Nana buys us presents and you send cute love cards. Also, if you like someone Valentines is the day to say so, it's a day to take a chance. Lots of people get roses and chocolates and everyone says i love you. Valentines is a time where people remember why they love each other and how thankful they are for one another s company.

Introduction to me

     
     Hello my name is Rebekka I live in Fortuna, California and go to Fortuna Union High school.I live in a family of five, there's my brother, my sister and my parents plus me. My brother and I do not really get along because there is seven years between us, but my sister and I are fine because I'm eleven years older than her. My brother is eight, my sister is three and I am fifteen. In a couple of months I'll be able to get a drivers permit, I'm so excited. My brother and I bicker over all the little things like where to sit and how mean the other is. Sadly, this kind of thing is even worst with my mom, we both always think that we are right. Sometimes I think that I just want to run away but, my awesome friends help me though everything. Recently I made cupcakes, when I was making them my little sister helped me with cleaning up by licking the spoon. All of my friends loved the cupcakes and everyone was surprised, I was just glad that they tasted good. Other than my family I have very few friends, all of them are super cool, so is my family.   
     I enjoy many different activities, these include writing stories, poetry, and drawing. Right now I am writing a story called My Sister and I on a website called Wattpad. The story is about two drama queens and there love lives. In addition, I love to read; I mainly read fiction, and anime. Some of my favorite books and series are Hunger Games, Spirit Bear, and Fruits Basket. Right now I am reading an anime series called Death Note, it is about a boy who finds a book that can kill people, he uses it, and right now him and his enemy are fighting to find one another . Also, I exercise a lot,I ride my bike to school, which is about two miles and am in a higher level of PE. In addition, after school I like to play volleyball, golf, dance, and am in a self-defense class. I value the fit image of all athletic people, and try to be like them.
